Night Light

For this film, I built the score by layering synthesizers arranged through an orchestral, multi-part harmonic approach. The slowly shifting synthetic timbres create an unfamiliar, detached texture that supports the film's quiet pacing. In the closing sequence, as the boy gazes at the factory chimney and imagines the city lights of Taipei, I wove metallic industrial foley sounds into the musical arrangement, blending instruments with sound design into a singular auditory experience.
