Hi, I’m DC (Yen Hao) Tu, a Taiwanese composer and sound artist. My practice drifts between contemporary music, electroacoustic works, and sound installations, while also extending into films, animations, advertisements, and dance.
Having grown from the energy of indie band music and the discipline of academic training, I weave together electronic resonance, natural instruments, and raw sonic materials.I focus on the texture and timbre of sound—continually reshaping them, exploring the space between the familiar and the unfamiliar, and where listening becomes an act of discovery. I hold a Master’s degree in Digital Content & Technologies, and Bachelor’s degrees in Management Information Systems and Radio & Television from National Chengchi University. I am currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Music at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.
