Eastern Aesthetics & Acoustic Transformation
Echoing the choreographer’s Eastern movement vocabulary, the score opens gently with soft, sustained strings. By processing acoustic strings and woodwinds through electronic sound design, the textures unfold in delicate layers, evoking the visual sensation of parting clouds gradually revealing a full moon.
Dramatic Friction & Resolution
The middle section introduces unfamiliar, experimental electronic textures, carving out the physical tension and confrontations between the dancers. As these bodily conflicts soften toward resolution, the score pivots back into harmonic balance, building up ascending layers of acoustic strings that guide the performance to a warm, resonant finale.
