YODEX Motion Graphic
Structure & Sonic Background
The YODEX identity had to respond to the keywords each participating school submitted, with symbols and words like "Deadline" and "talk" appearing one after another on screen. I started by building a sonic background that could carry all of it, giving the film a continuous pulse so the rapid cuts never felt fragmented.
Mechanical Articulation
On top of that background, mechanical sounds articulate each word and symbol in turn, so every keyword lands with its own sonic event. With PUI PUI Molcar at peak popularity that year, we also produced a Molcar edition built on the same structure.
